FAQ
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Return + Exchange Policy?
- First and foremost, I do NOT offer returns. I apologize if this causes any inconveniences, but I am a one woman show. I put meticulous design and thought and a lot of working hours into every item I make by hand. After my products are made, it then requires photographing, marketing, website listings, packing and shipping, etc… all of which are also done by me. A lot goes into each and every piece from concept to customer and my small business doesn’t have the capacity for returns. Please be certain of any sizing and also the desire of your order before you place it.
- I am not a jewelry repair shop. I make jewelry that’s forged with precious metals, fire, and high grade stones and gems. Items are built to last and become heirlooms that can be passed down for generations. However, I use materials all of which are actually pulled from within the Earth. Stones and gems are delicate. Silver and other precious metals can be dented and scratched. Jewelry with the stones that have already been set cannot be heated again. If an item has a defect that is out of your control, I would be willing to discuss repairing it. However, if you drop, smash, yank, vacuum up, garden with, lift weights in, drive a car over and such …any of the items purchased from me then that is on you.

My hatbands are more delicate being that they are made with STRING. From various stainless steel wiring and fireline (string) and a beadwork mixture of vintage and new beads, the hatbands are delicately hand-loomed together. All hatbands should be treated with love and care and not yanked or pulled on. If there is an issue with your hatband, please email me immediately.
- Any and all of my beadwork items, in general, are more delicate being that they are made with string. Just like any hand crafted item - pieces should be treated with love and care, carefully cleaned if necessary, and stored properly when not being worn.
Repair work is on a case by case basis and purely up to my sole discretion. Please contact me so we can discuss what the repair would entail and price.
CUSTOM ORDERS?
Unless you see a listing for a ‘completely custom jewelry order’ on the website, then I am currently not offering them AT THIS TIME.
However, I do offer semi-custom jewelry orders where stone/gem choices can be picked from my inventory and created into one of my signature designs.
General colorways and width measurements can be custom requested / ordered for my hatbands, but the design and style choice of beadwork is left up to my creative genius.
CARE + MAINTENANCE ?
All precious metals tarnish over time. Jewelry is best stored in a dry, non-humid environment. (Brass and copper will tarnish the quickest, followed by Sterling and fine silver, and then the various karats of gold). To polish up your pieces, I recommend warm soapy water, and a scratch free buffing cloth to do the trick. Hatbands can be stored with/on your cowboy hat, or in a small soft cloth bag.
Every jewelry piece will get a thorough, final polish and cleaning and arrive SPARKLING at your doorstep!
- MORE Information -
All of my creations are artisan, hand crafted / hand forged pieces that are drawn/sketched, designed, and made by me in my studio. All of my supplies are from true and trusted sources. For my jewelry items, I use sterling and fine silver, jewelers brass, copper, various karats of gold. I source only genuine turquoise, gems, and other various stones from small business lapidary artists and gem suppliers. Anything with beadwork consists of a mixture of wooden, glass, Swarvoski crystal, various metals, turquoise, stones, rocks, other various beads etc. I also love to source vintage beads from estate sales, vintage shops, and other places to truly make one of a kind items that can be cherished forever and never replicated. I love blending new and vintage. Each piece takes countless hours from design to doorstep all of which is reflected into pricing. I’m not a machine and nothing I make is 100% perfect - which I believe, is what truly makes these types of items beautiful.
